Who is responsible

This website is run by the StrafePvP team, the Minecraft server. We are responsible for the data processed on it.

For any question about your data, open a ticket on our Discord.

What data we process

  • Your Discord account, when you sign in: ID, username, display name and avatar. We only request the “identify” permission: we cannot see your email, servers or messages, and we do not store Discord tokens.
  • Your Minecraft account, if you link it in game: UUID and username.
  • Game server data: stats, matches, inventories at the end of a match and leaderboard positions. They are shown publicly on profiles and leaderboards.
  • Your activity on the website: the clips you submit, your votes and your reactions to news posts.
  • Session data: the IP address and browser (User-Agent) you sign in from, to protect your account.

We do not ask for your email, real name, phone number or payment details. The store is a separate service with its own policy.

What we use it for

  • Identifying you and keeping you signed in.
  • Running clip contests: receiving submissions, counting votes and preventing fraud (one vote per person, no duplicate accounts).
  • Delivering prizes in game to the linked Minecraft account.
  • Moderating content and enforcing the rules.
  • Keeping the website secure and knowing, in aggregate, how many visits it gets.

The legal basis is providing the service you request by creating an account and taking part, and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and contests fair.

Cookies

We only use technical cookies that the website needs to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why we do not ask for consent.

Third-party services

Some images and content on the website are not served by us: your browser requests them directly from other services. When it does, those services receive your IP address and the technical data of any web request (browser, page it was requested from), and process them under their own privacy policy.

ServiceWhat is requested and when
Craftheadcrafthead.netPlayers' Minecraft faces and skins, on profiles, leaderboards, matches and clips.
Discorddiscord.com · cdn.discordapp.comUser avatars and our Discord server's icon. Sign-in happens on Discord's own page.
YouTube (Google)youtube-nocookie.com · i.ytimg.comThumbnails of clips submitted as a YouTube link, and their player on the clip page. We use privacy-enhanced mode, but YouTube may store data in your browser when you play the video.
Vercelvercel.comWebsite hosting and Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate and without cookies.

Links to other websites (NameMC, the store, voice chat, Discord) send nothing until you click them.

What is public and who it is shared with

What is part of the competition is public: your name and avatar, your approved clips, how many votes they get, your stats and your matches. Who votes for whom is not public: only the moderation team can see it, to detect fraud.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Besides us, only the providers in the previous section process it, as far as their service requires.

How long we keep it

  • Sessions, with their IP and browser, are deleted when they expire or when you sign out.
  • Your account data, for as long as the account exists.
  • Contest results, winners, prize deliveries and the moderation log are kept for the record and to resolve disputes.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to us through a Discord ticket and we will reply within one month. You can undo your Minecraft link yourself in game.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to your country's data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Minors

Signing in requires a Discord account, which has your country's minimum age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor gave us data without permission, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we process your data, we will update this page and the date above. If the change is significant, we will announce it in the news.
